Bramley Bodycare
The new Bramley Bath, Body & Home collection trumpets the fact it’s been inspired by a love of the British countryside. And at a time when it’s surely never looked more beautiful, could that possibly be more on-message? There are plenty of choices in the range – and some great gift sets that we think are can’t-fail-to-please choices for a beauty-hound friend – we’ve hand-picked some of our definite favourites.
Bramley Bath Salts/£15 for 250 g. Tapping into The Great Bath Salt Revival in the most pleasurable way, a relaxing yet uplifting blend of some of our favourite botanicals, including lavender, spearmint and geranium.
Bramley Body Lotion/from £3 for the useful 50 ml travel size. This is light-textured yet nourishing; after use you’ll waft delectable little puffs of juniper, bergamot and sweet orange.
Bramley Hand Cream/from £6 for 100 ml. Very skin-quenching without being greasy. Here, you’ll enjoy geranium, petitgrain and lavender. The 250 ml pump’s sitting on the desk, right now.
Also lovely: the home fragrance range, which includes a Soothing Room Diffuser (chamomile, lavender, geranium), an Uplifting Room Diffuser (lemongrass, spearmint and marjoram), plus a 100% natural wax candle.
The range trumpets the fact it uses fairtrade oils and ingredients are ‘sustainably grown’. To be blunt, we’d love to see these guys jump through the extra hoops to back those claims up with certification, in the interests of transparency – but we’re slightly nit-picking here; the range is certainly free from microbeads, artificial chemicals/colourings, petrochemicals, sulphates, propylene glycol, phthalates, silicones and parabens.
And generally, pretty much everything in this particular garden’s lovely.
