Bosworth Aesthetics & Beauty Skin in a Tin

A friend recommended this ‘facialist’ range of products to us. A tin duly landed on the desk – and we didn’t put two and two together until the Christmas break, which afforded time to excavate everything on said desk, clear the decks and trial lots of products that had slipped through the net.

We’re sorry we waited so long. (And are now rather wishing that we lived a little closer to Market Bosworth, where the Bosworth Aesthetics & Beauty skin clinic is located, to check it out in person. We very much like the fact their website acknowledges that everyone’s busy by offering flexible late evening, early morning and weekend appointments – wish everyone did that.)

Think of this as a facial-in-a-tin, basically. And it’s probably priced around the same as a facial, but offering a couple of months’ worth of products. It’s the smells – lovely, aromatherapeutic smells – that had us at ‘hello’. The particular tin that we’ve been enjoying – Mature Skin in a Tin – hooked us with the Enzyme Infused Cleansing Oil and the Stem Cell Active Serum, then clinched the deal with an SPF25 Pro Age Eye Cream. (Again, we wish every eye cream had an SPF, to shield this fragile zone.) There are five products in all – you’ll also receive a Skin Boosting Toner and a Collagen Retinol Moisturiser with this particular kit.

It’s just one of quite a few kits on their website – a capsule collection of full-size products targeting blemish-prone, dry, teenage, sun-damaged or mature skins, alongside a collection that promises to be ‘Microdermabrasion in a Tin’. Definitely worth exploring – perhaps via the £24.95 ‘trial’ kit, featuring several of the products we liked, if you don’t feel you can spring for a tin straight away.

We got there in the end. And are so pleased we did! (Guess that’s what New Year’s clearouts are all about.)
