We love oils. Rich oils, light oils, nourishing oils. Slurp, slurp, slurp, our skins go. And with the launch of the Oils of Life collection from The Body Shop, we're delighted there are some new and (relatively) affordable options for skin nourishment. The three oils at the heart of this new range have been sourced from the Egyptian Nile valley (black cumin seed oil, famous for its antioxidant powers), camellia seed oil (from China), which is naturally abundant in oleic acids, and the more familiar rosehip seed oil, packed with omega 3 and omega 6 essential fatty acids (and in this case, coming from the Andean foothills of Chile).

It's a potent blend that's quite simply blissful to use, and has been formulated into three products: a lotion (not a necessary skincare step, we'd say), Intensely Revitalising Facial Oil (a familiar format for anyone who uses facial oils), and – our favourite – a really brilliant gel-cream moisturiser, which offers all the skin-saving benefits of an oil but in with really user-friendly texture.
