If dark shadows are the bane of your life, Bobbi Brown might just be about to ride to your rescue. (We find: for many sufferers of dark circles, these really are the beauty bane of your lives – and the quest for a good cover-up is like the search for the Holy Grail). This highly-pigmented concealer offers some of the most effective coverage we've ever experienced in a concealer – and unlike Bobbi's Creamy Concealer (which came in a lidded pot) is dispensed via a sponge-tip applicator that makes for easy blending and is much more our cup of tea.

We've put an on-line stockist below (because after all, some of you do live in the Outer Hebrides) – but our recommendation is not to buy this without being skin-matched. That's because it comes in an incredibly impressive 15 shade range – and you want to get this right. Too light, and you'll draw attention to your eyes in another way. Too dark, and it won't do the job properly, either.
