On behalf of all the small people in our lives, we are very excited about this teaming up of the lovely naturals brand Bloom and Blossom, and Roald Dahl’s The BFG to create a sleep-beckoning range with a special limited edition of The Big Friendly Giant alongside it.

Just to rewind a bit, Jo once upon a time interviewed Roald Dahl himself. Their introduction was preceded by a goat skittering down the stairs of his house in Great Missenden, with Dahl bellowing ‘Get that f*****g goat out of my bedroom!’ But despite that potentially rocky start, they had a great time (it included a visit to the famous shed), and she left even more of a fan-girl.

We love reading his books to kids – and we know they’ll want to wallow in this collection. It includes Grobby Little Hair & Body Wash, Snapper Whipper’s Shampoo, Wispy-Misty Bubble Bath, Whoppsy Whiffling Conditioner – all free from nasties and safe for sensitive and eczema-prone skin – and the ‘hero’, the Dream Catcher’s Pillow Spray. They all feature the same relaxing blend of eucalyptus, sweet orange, bergamot, satsuma, lavender and patchouli.

Nicest of all is the special edition book, which – like the rest of the range – was born out of a visit that Bloom and Blossom co-founder (and mother-of-three) Julia Yule paid to the Roald Dahl archive with her sister-in-law and business partner Christina Moss. To quote the BFG: ‘Dreams is very mystical things.’ With this lot, sleep-deprived children (and their equally sleep-deprived parents) should enjoy more of them.
