Beauty Bible Weekend Steal: Rimmel Thrill Seeker Glassy Gloss
Lip gloss has officially returned to favour. We have watched this happen many times, over our long careers, but actually, we’ve always rather loved a lip gloss ever since Lancôme revolutionised the concept of them with Juicy Tubes: non-sticky, longer-lasting and with a hint of fruitiness.
All of the above descriptions which apply to these super-affordable, chunky offerings from good old Rimmel London. In six sheer shades (we like the deepest options, Pink to the Berry and Berry Glacé), they have plump doe-foot applicators and are super-comfortable on the lips, with an almost lip-oil conditioning feel; in fact, they’re infused with hyaluronic acid, and leave lips feeling genuinely moisturised even when they’ve worn off.
There are three scents/flavours: coconut water, pineapple and ‘pink berry’ – but they certainly don’t overwhelm in a cheap-sweets way that some inexpensive fruity glosses do.
And via that cushiony wand, you control the level of shine – from a mere slick to full-on 70s disco glam, and once in place, the wear is surprisingly long.
Truly, a glass act – and at a brilliant price (currently even more brilliant at Boots – just £5.99, with link below).
