Lashings of different oils feature, including castor seed, apricot kernel, sunflower, olive, sweet almond, along with their signature papaya fruit extract, aloe, and soft plant waxes.

Dr.PAWPAW Lip & Eye Balm/£4.95 for 8ml. Clever stuff, this: it not only nourishes and hydrates lips, but can be lightly tapped into the eye area when it’s feeling a bit dry. (Apply from the angled tip direct to lips, but our advice is to apply to the fingertip if using around the eyes, and pat the eye zone.)

Dr.PAWPAW Lip Balm SPF/£4.95 for 8ml. High summer is becoming a distant memory, but this is worth slicking on for a long walk or a session of pruning/hacking/bulb planting outdoors – and there are bound to be some of you who are headed sun-wards. Features a useful SPF20 and a light fruit flavour, whereas the others (at least so far as our tastebuds are concerned) don’t taste of anything at all.
