Woods of Windsor Fragranced Drawer Liners
How nice do your undies smell? That isn’t a rude question, honestly. Because at Beauty Bible we are rather fond of lining our drawers so that our lingerie (or our jumpers or our t-shirts, come to that) are lightly infused with scent, when we reach for a garment or undergarment. (For the same reason, we always store bars of soap in our drawers, too – another way of fragrancing our lives.)
Drawer liners might sound like something you’d give a great-aunt for Christmas, but we’re loving two of the new collection by Woods of Windsor. First up: True Rose, a lovely tea rosy, dewy rose (not too powdery). Second: fresher and airier Bergamot & Neroli, which will appeal if you like Cologne-y scents. (And we do, we do.) TBH we’re not so keen on the lavender scent but you may LOVE lavender, so we’re mentioning them, too.
Design-wise, they’re subtly different, but each with a view towards glorious Windsor Castle (this quintessentially British brand has its roots in a small apothecary in the shadow of the castle, going back as far as 1770).
We’re not making any claims for how well these deter moths – which have been blighters this year – but what we will say is that rearranging your drawers to line them with scented sheets offers a great opportunity to check for moth damage, and deal with them accordingly.
As far as we’re concerned though, drawer liners should be filed under ‘small pleasures’ – and over the past 15 months, those have come to mean a lot.
