Beauty Bible Loves... Wildsmith Skin Body Butter and Body Cleansers
It’s well-known that we are wild about Wildsmith Skin – but we are even wilder when they have newness to share. (And that doesn’t happen every other day.)
So, cue drumroll: we have not one but TWO body innovations to share, both gorgeous and covetable.
The whacking jar of Wildsmith Skin Body Butter is definitely worth finding space on your bedside table for, at this time of year – when the central heating’s hovering on being on, and we’re wearing tighter clothes (and indeed tights), which ‘wick’ moisture from skin. It’s the very definition of lusciousness, an all-natural blend of shea butter, aloe and rosehip, plus probiotics in the form of a lactobacillus ferment. Uniquely, there’s also an ingredient harvested from the estate surrounding Wildsmith Skin’s HQ, at Heckfield Place: a hydrolat of hand-picked chamomile. Farewell tight, dry body; hello soft, velvety, touch-me skin.
Interestingly, unusually, Wildsmith Skin Body Butter is specifically designed for evening use, and hence only comes in one fragrant option: Stillness. But that’s fine by us, because we love that really grounding blend of juniper, frankincense, ylang ylang, jasmine… (Think we feel a little calmer just writing that down, actually.)
By contrast, the new Wildsmith Skin Body Cleansers come in three options: Stillness, Vitality (the ‘pick-you-up’ option, with its blend of ginger, black pepper, sweet orange, lemongrass and vetiver), and an exfoliating option called Purify, which doesn’t use harsh scrubby bits but instead gently sloughs and brightens via an AHA and BHA complex. The aroma of this one? Zingy grapefruit, with fennel and juniper.
Gel-textured, these all create a soft and skin-friendly lather that doesn’t strip skin, but instead leaves it nourished.
It may be vest season – or thereabouts – but these are a wonderful reminder to give your body ongoing TLC.
