We are already BIG fans of Barry M, for the amazing value offered by their ranges. And if you have any residual snobbiness, from back in the day when they were a pocket money purchase, we promise that you'll be blown away if you take time to explore the range.

This new collection is quite a step up, though, while still being really accessibly-priced. (Think: For No Filter, Barry M has teamed up with TV presenter Vicky Pattison and her friend and make-up artist/influencer Lo Dias – Instagram @thebeautybom – to create six different lip shade kits (packing note: VERY Tom Ford!), together with a 35-shade eyeshadow palette which we can see going on many a Christmas list straight away.

The palette is the star of the show: lots of great neutrals, including some lustrous options for highlighting – every shade you could possibly need, actually – but for the more adventurous, some out-there shades for experimenting with. (And of the lipsticks, NB, we’re most enjoying Red Carpet – a proper, dressed-up, classy and classic red.)

Their philosophy? As they put it, NO FILTER Beauty 'strives to make people feel amazing in their own skin and build their confidence.' Which doesn't mean creating a 'mask' with make-up, but using it to bring out your best features, as subtly as you like.

We love what they say, actually...
