During lockdown, we got used to natural nails. Really natural nails: not a slick of polish, never mind a gel or shellac. And something weird happened: our nails grew stronger and longer. It wasn't just us: friends and readers reported the exact same thing.
But now that life is returning to normal, a completely naked nail doesn't always feel quite right. A little 'under-groomed', at meetings, etc. A little self-conscious-making.
So, while we won't be returning to a regular salon manicure schedule anytime soon – pedicures, yes, manicures, not so often – we very much welcome this set from trusty Nails Inc.
It couldn't be easier to use. We'd almost forgotten (during our nude nail hiatus) how incredibly easy Nails Inc. make it to use their products: their special wide brush covers the entire nail with one stroke.

Get Me Glowing polish is an ever-so-slightly gleaming shell pink – not really a shimmer, but just enough to catch the light.
To be honest, without reading the instructions, we thought they were designed to be used together, and that the Glowing My Way was a base coat and that the Get Me Glowing was designed to be used on top. So we did that and... JOB DONE in two shakes of a lamb's tail! (TBH We're STILL not sure if that's right or not – but hey, it works...)
Result? Like your nails, but prettier. And just groomed enough, for life as it restarts...
