Nailberry L'Oxygéné Polish (Bluebell)

2020’s ‘Pantone Colours of the Year’ didn’t push our buttons, frankly – we’re just not big on grey. (There’s QUITE enough of it in the sky, thanks.)

But we’re VERY cheered by the shade Pantone have chosen for 2022: periwinkle blue. It shouts ‘spring’, very loudly – and frankly, we can’t wait. (We’re nipping out to the garden to look at cheering little shoots emerging from brown earth.) It’s a great colour for pretty much anything in our book – curtains, jugs, wallpaper, paint and most DEFINITELY nails, as evidenced by this Bluebell shade of Nailberry polish.

Several of Nailberry’s polishes are Beauty Bible Award-winners, including this L’Oxygéné Nail Lacquer (albeit in another shade – a classic red), which scooped Silver in the 2021 Awards. As one tester commented: ‘I was astonished at how well it lasted. I was waiting for it to fall off but it just wouldn't budge! So: they may still be clad in tights (and on bad days, socks, too) – but we’re determined to paint our toenails with this on-trend, spring-like blue, for a little, smile-making preview of spring, every time we look at our feet.
