Beauty Bible Loves... Monika Blunder Beauty Sweet Talk Lip Gloss

Lip gloss ain’t what it used to be. Because very often, nowadays, what describes itself as a gloss actually turns out to be a nourishing lip oil – which is the case with the gorgeous ‘glosses’ from Monika Blunder Beauty, a make-up brand we really rate.

Once upon a time, gloss stuck to your hair and felt gummy, sometimes somehow even ‘claustrophobic’ on the lips. Monika Blunder Beauty Sweet Talk Lip Gloss, by contrast, packs a punch of non-sticky , comfy TLC with a blend of fruit extracts and oils (blueberry, pomegranate, raspberry and prickly pear), along with soothing brown algae to hydrate, and some vitamin E for good measure. (Note: they’re not all natural, but there’s a goodly dose of botanicals in there.

Monika Blunder Beauty Sweet Talk Lip Gloss comes in six fab, sheer shades, from the deep wine-colour Brombeere (bottom right, which actuallly goes on as a sheer berry shade), through to pretty rosewood Feige (just above it) which is a terrific neutral. You’ll note that we said SIX shades, and there are five above – because the beige-toned nude Kastanie missed its close-up, presumably rattling round at the bottom of a handbag – from which all these other shades were excavated.

Because yes, Beauty Bible loves them THAT much.
