Monika Blunder Beauty Blunder Cover All-in-One Concealer/Foundation

Monika Blunder Beauty Blunder Cover All-in-One Concealer/Foundation recently came into its own after an overnight flight – an absolute godsend for someone who wants to arrive looking polished and groomed, and is hide-bound by the teeny cosmetics allowance that can be sqeezed into one of those little plastic Ziploc bags.

It’s also just great for having in the handbag for all-day touch-ups: an all-in one product which conceals everything brilliantly, yet doesn’t look in the least like a mask, when you apply it much more widely on the face.

Monika Blunder is an Austrian-born make-up artist with serious red carpet credentials, living and working in Hollywood – so she knows a thing or two about faces. We’re told: ‘After working on a whole host of Hollywood elite, Monika Blunder understands the need for diversity among the beautysphere, and knows that there is no one-colour-suits-all approach.

Blunder Cover’s diverse shade range – something for every skintone

So: this debut product comes in 14 shades (above) which really do cover the whole spectrum, and can be custom-combined if you choose, in order to find your perfect shade. To brighten the under-eye area, they recommend using a shade lighter than your normal skintone. (We think that’s probably an issue if you’ve got really obvious under-eye circles, but not necessarily needed otherwise – at least, that’s our experience.)

In a screw-top pot, the texture is ultra-creamy, and it can either be patted into skin, or applied via a foundation brush. (There’s a Monika Blunder brush designed for the job, but TBH we get better results from fingers, which warm the product as it’s applied.)

Blunder? Blunder-PROOF, we’d say.
