Messiah & Eve Body Serum.01
You probably use a serum on your face. But have you ever thought of using one on your body? Nope. Us neither. (And we’ve been in this game a long while.)
Messiah and Eve Body Serum .01, though, has convinced us of the virtues of doing just that. Ideally, they recommend, use it straight after a shower, then follow with body cream (and in an even-more-perfect world, that would be Messiah and Eve Body Cream .01), to lock in that moisture.
What we’re experiencing, however, is an instant firming action. It’s particularly good for a quick fix of legs that have been under tights due to an unseasonably early autumn, then put on show again when an Indian summer returned; the rich serum leaves them gleaming, nourished and (are we imagining this?) a little bit firmer. Same with arms. Perhaps not surprising, since key skin-saving ingredients include hyaluronic acid, niacinamide, marula oil, vitamin C and Kakadu plum – the very same sort of ingredients we might expect to find in an effective serum for the face.
Of course there aren’t really rules about what you can use where. (Though we’d never put a product near our eyes that wasn’t tested for safety there.) You COULD use your face serum all over – but it’s the price that’s prohibitive. Millilitre for millilitre, this is way more reasonable.
We’ve previously raved about Messiah and Eve here – and also featured founder Sarah Sklavenitis in our 7 Secrets of Beauty & Wellbeing section, here. One of the things that we love most about the collection, being rather led by our noses through life, is the aroma: a fab fusion of bergamot, jasmine, black pepper, leather notes and woody accords that is ultimately very grounding and sort of ‘tethering’.
100% PCR (Post Consumer Recycled) packaging, and recyclable, too, with the pump being 97% PCR and recyclable (an industry first, we’re told).
Bottom line: if summer swings back round one last time, we’re ready.
