Beauty Bible Loves... Little ishga

Awww. Look at this!

Scottish seaweed-powered ishga you already know we’re big fans – has brought out products for little ones! The Soil Association-certified organic duo is fine for really quite small people – the Marine Cream is suitable for babies and up, but also as a ‘starter skincare’ for teens and tweens.

We’ve had reports from friends that their daughters are demanding skincare from the age of nine and up, which is pretty darned scary, frankly – but if you’re tempted to give in to the nagging, you could safely start with this cream.

Little ishga Marine Cream/£27.50 for 100ml. Ultra-kind to skin, this blends oils of apricot kernel, macadamia and thistle, together with aloe vera and ishga’s signature Fucus serratus extract. We reckon this would be great to have on standby for adult skins that are out of whack, when you want to dial down your skincare routine, because it’s as gentle as it gets, very lightly fragranced with lavender and mandarin oils, considered the safest for children.

Skin-Friendly Body & Hand Wash/£19 for 250ml, meanwhile, is the second product from Little ishga, using only the most skin-friendly natural cleansing agents. (It always blows our minds to receive a press release about a body cleanser for babies that features known irritants like SLS/Sodium Lauryl Sulfate and SLES/Sodium Lauryl Ether Sulfate – but absolutely none of that here, we’re relieved to see). There is coconut oil for natural moisturisation, along with ishga’s antioxidant-powered, vitamin rich seaweed extract – and a truly lovely scent of rose geranium, lavender, lemongrass and juniper. Again, something touchy-skinned adults could happily use to cleanse body and hands.

We’ve a hunch this range will grow. (Just like the small people who you introduce it to.)
