iS Clinical PerfecTint Powder SPF40

The weekend beckons. Allegedly, it is going to be sunny. (So much the case that we're out there with the watering cans every morning at the mo, which is a bit weird in April, actually.)

But from a beauty perspective, what that means is: SUN PROTECTION, EVERYONE!

And here's a new way to layer that on, via an easy-peasy brush-on foundation from iSClinical. It duly comes with a built-in brush, into which you screw a cartridge of skin-perfecting powder. (There's a spare, in the box.) A few twists, and hey, presto: the powder is ready to sweep onto the face, offering buildable coverage – or, in the case of the bronzer, a swoosh of sun-kissed colour wherever the sun normally kisses. Where you've applied it, there's then a decent level of SPF40 protection in place – though we'd suggest nevertheless applying a sun prep underneath, because you may not cover your whole face with this.

There are five shades (including the Bronze), spanning Ivory to Deep, and they couldn't be quicker or easier to swoosh on quickly. (Easy to slip into a handbag for touch-ups, if required, although we find the fairly matte-finish product really stays in place.

Just add sunshine. (We've everything crossed!)

PS Just one thing: do be sure you've screwed the cartridge in firmly. Jo – always rubbish at following instructions – thought it just clicked into place, and had a bit of a spill. But once she did what she was told, it was easy and mess-free.
