Beauty Bible Loves... indu Mirror Gloss Lip Gloss
How deeply buried is your inner teenager…?
indu is a brand that’s aimed at the teen. The fab, groovy teen; the one who probably borrows your make-up anyway, has a floordrobe in her bedroom, and makes you smile AND cry (sometimes both at the same time).
But this particular product, we think, has a wider appeal. (Because really, we never grow out of loving lip gloss.)
Subtly pigmented, there are three shades of indu Mirror Glaze Lip Gloss: sheer Peachy Nude and Just So Pink (we like the former, better), and Aura, which has a slight pearly shimmer. They’re all just so comfy to wear, nourishing lips with hyaluronic acid and castor oil. They’re almost – almost – as comfy as a lip oil, actually, yet last that little bit longer.
Just to give you indu’s back story, this brand has quite a pedigree. Its inspirations were the twin teenage daughters of Aaron Chatterly, co-founder of Feelunique, who set up indu with business partner there, Richard Schiessl, along with Reena Hammer, former MD of Urban Retreat and someone who’s basically, ‘beauty royalty’, being the daughter of our make-up artist chum Ruby Hammer. Ideas are crowdsourced via indu’s ‘Teen Committee’, ‘a group of global, diverse and passionate 13-17 beauty and skincare enthusiasts.’
A nice ‘You’ve got this’ gift for someone who’s revising, perhaps. Or buy an indu Mirror Glaze Lip Gloss for yourself, with the realistic expectation: it’s definitely going to get nicked out of your make-up bag.
