Guerlain Terracotta (now 96% naturally-derived)
Today is the day we finally got our legs out.
Considering the fact that on Tuesday, we needed GLOVES, this is quite the turnaround – and beauty-wise, the very first thing that happens is that our make-up doesn't look quite right, now the weather's suddenly done a volte face.
As ever, the go-to is something from Guerlain's Terracotta range. They've been doing bronzing powders since – oh, for as long as we've been writing about beauty. (A LONG TIME.)
But this year, as Guerlain increasingly embraces sustainability in their very sophisticated line-up of fragrances, make-up and skincare – a major challenge, without ever wanting to compromise on the quality for which they're famous (and theirs is a vast range to reformulate) – we are very cheered by the news that the classic Terracotta Bronzing Powder is for the first time composed of almost exclusively natural ingredients.
Same instantly gilded look and finish – a whisper of a sun-kiss (which is all we'd suggest right now), or a full bronzed goddess look. Same seamless finish for which Terracotta is widely-loved (including by us), partly thanks to the argan oil in the blend.
But now, it doesn't just look 100% natural; the formula itself is impressively 96% natural, too, available in six shades – and gosh, that's an improvement on the one-shade-suits-all bronzers of yore.
So hello, summer. Better late than never.
