Beauty Bible Loves... delilah Wake Up newness

Face in need of perkification? Our friends at delilah have two products that are most definitely living up to their ‘Wake Up’ names.

First, delilah Wake Up Radiant Eye Perfector. Not concealing, per se, but this gel serum instantly hydrates and creates a smooth and fairly grippy canvas for whatever you apply over the top – concealer, eye base, or just eyeshadow. Quite simply, it makes eyes look ‘fresh’, and as well as using it in the morning, we really like it in the under-eye zone for a mid-afternoon pick-me-up, because the tiniest dot, applied over make-up, makes eyes look ‘alive’ again.

And well… so, brilliantly, does delilah Radiant Hydrating Skin & Make-up Mist. Somehow, Rupert and his team snuck this out without us realising, so we only discovered it at the Fortnums’ launch breakfast for Radiant Eye Perfector – but we’ve been making up for lost time and spritzing with gay abandon through summer.

This mist isn’t about just giving your skin a spritz to cool it down at your desk; it’s about s-e-r-i-o-u-s make-up revival and refreshment. Don’t ask us how it works. It just does (and the spray is truly micro-fine, so it doesn’t leave skin looking wet). Can we just add, meanwhile, that it smells divine, thanks to the damask rose and orange blossom water in there…? (There’s a great demo video with founder Rupert Kingston on the website for this product, joining lots of others, which we recommend checking out.)

Handbag must-haves for mid-afternoon faces, the pair of them. Gotta say it: this multi-Beauty Bible Award-winning brand has done it again.
