Beauty Bible Loves: De Mamiel Altitude Bath Soak

Last December we wrote a rhapsody about these heavenly bath salts but we warned you that this was a very limited edition. But now that has changed. Our old friend ‘popular demand’ persuaded Année de Mamiel – founder of this multi-award winning British brand – to start filling more of these elegant navy blue glass pots with fragrant aromatic crystals. (And yes, with the demands of life under the rule of Corona, Année is hand filling all those pots herself, with the help of her husband Chris.)

Altitude Bath Soak (£42 for 400g) is perfect for these stressful times. As we wrote before, sniffing those fragrant salts is an instant magic wand ‘Aaaaah’ moment. Then lying in the bath is a paradisical off switch after a long day.

Année originally created it as an extension of her much loved Altitude Oil/£30 for 10ml. (Never ever be without that when you have a cold – it really clears your head - or get stuck indoors for any reason, as you or someone you know might well be at the moment.)

The Bath Soak is designed to help your brain and body shimmy gently back into balance when you’re under pressure, as well as hydrating and nourishing your skin. Plus there’s an amazing ingredient called Shungite Crystal Powder to help prevent the build-up of electro-magnetic energy from sitting for long hours at the screen face. (You might be writing your first novel, socialising online – or working...)

The triple salt blend features pink Himalayan salts, Epsom salts and Dead Sea salt as well as a blend of fragrant fortifying essential oils – lavender, eucalyptus, fragonia, peppermint, pine leaf, lemon myrtle and patchouli, to be precise. Are you with us still? Or have you wafted off already?

SO we really do suggest you forage in your piggy bank – or tell your nearest and dearest you really really need a treat - and get those fingers tapping here to order.

PS Altitude Bath Soak is also a perfect gift for anyone you love, we reckon.
