The lovely team at Cosmetics à la Carte have a double celebration going on at their Pavilion Road boutique, this week. It is Chelsea in Bloom, and so the store, along with many others, is beautifully and florabundantly decorated, inside and out. (Scroll down for our photo.)

The other celebration is a new product launch: Fresh Faced blushers, which are swivel-up gel blushers in three easy-peasy shades. Team Beauty Bible popped in to see the lovely owners, Lynne and Belle Sanders – always such a treat – and here are Sarah’s thoughts, on their latest creation:

‘Oooh! the deliciousness of this trio of hint-of-a-tint balms, which give you just the “fresh faced” look they promise. Given that we've always been balmy about balms, this hyaluronic acid and peptide enriched formula – to plump and smooth as it tints – is definitely finding its happy place in our make-up bags. No need to blend either; just swoosh and go…’

Don’t be scared by the colour of the stick: as you can see from the swatches above, they go on really fruity. Rosy (right) is a cool pink; Peachy (centre) is great for warmer skintones, but the dark horse is Fruity, on the left, which – yes – looks really dark, but just gives the healthiest, most flattering and foolproof tint.

We reckon they’re absolutely perfect for summer cheeks - and don't forget they're just as good on lips for a soft slick of colour.
