Beauty Bible Loves... Beautiful Thinking room fragrance

Wish you were here. The office smells just beautiful. More than that, we really are feeling a surge of creativity. Which may well be down to this innovative room scent…

Beautiful Thinking was created by branding agency Free The Birds – who work with a lot of beauty names – via a team-building workshop designed to inspire them via scent. Led by very successful indie perfumer (and former Lush copywriter) Sarah McCartney, it was born out of the belief ‘that the most memorable ideas blossom in spaces conducive to creativity.’ And why not make scent a part of that? (Certainly works for us.)

The team settled on notes of rhubarb, peppermint, Clearwood and Virginia cedar (the latter both woody notes), also chosen to work aromachologically, i.e. on a mental as well as an olfactory level, to enhance imagination.

As well as adoring the room scent (we want one for skin, please!), we love the fact that all profits from this sensational space spritz will be donated to CREATE, a charity specifically to empower young people and adults, via the creative arts. (That chimes with Free The Birds’ philosophy to give back, nurturing creativity not only among their own team, but charities and organisations who focus on that, too.

Just 800 bottles have been created in this limited edition, hand-filled in their Shoreditch workshop, and each featuring a pencil inside the tall, slim bottle.

As if further inspiration was needed…
