Apoth & Co. Lip Trio
To be fair, it hasn’t been the cruellest of British winters, lip-wise. Not the coldest: we haven’t had to have the radiators turned up to max – in fact, we’ve had windows open at times, when it’s felt almost tropical. No biting winds, either. But at the end of even a kind winter, lips benefit from extra TLC – so here’s a new find, that we’re enjoying, in the form of Apoth & Co.’s lip trip.
The concept is that you treat lip skin with the same multi-step approach as the rest of your face. The Apoth & Co. trio, then, features a gentle sugary exfoliating scrub, to safely banish any flaking and ‘prep’ the lips for the next step.
The balm itself is lovely: slightly minty (almost tingly, in a good way), rich – and you can skim on a layer, or slather generously. But the slathering is really reserved for night-time, and the mask, enriched with glycerine, hyaluronic acid, crambe seed oil, vitamin A (and again, a touch of peppermint). By morning, lips are softly plumped and just gorgeous.
The products are all available individually, in small glass jars, while all ingredients are natural (good-enough-to-eat, basically).
Read our (lovely, soft) lips: we’re seeing a trend for lipcare becoming a ‘thing’. And these guys are in the vanguard.
