This is brilliant. The high level of protection we want from a summer sunscreen, but with cosmetic benefits. 

It’s from Avène, whose suncare we have long rated, not least because we know so many touchy-skinned women who get on well with it. This latest is a really high protection, broad spectrum, nice-to-use, sinks-in-fast formulation (not greasy at all) for the face, which has a complexion-enhancing action. That’s because it features micro-encapsulated, light-diffusing pigments which work like a BB cream to even out the skintone, reducing the appearance of redness (thread veins, etc.)

We’ve tried and and found that we can definitely dial down the amount of foundation or tinted moisturiser that we might want to apply over the top.
