What we have here is quite simply a glorious, nourishing, skin-plumping mask that couldn’t be better for this time of year, when central heating’s sucking the very life out of our skins. Antipodes is a New Zealand all-natural skincare collection much-loved by our Beauty Bible testers. This latest to the line up is certainly keeping our skins very happy right now, packed with lashings of manuka honey (which attracts moisture to the skin and has a natural anti-bacterial action), along with avocado oil, carrot oil, glycerine and more.

As you relax with 15 minutes with this smoothed in generous layers onto skin (and you will do as you’re told and r-e-l-a-x, won’t you?), this also soothes the senses with a wonderful scent of mandarin and vanilla. They recommend night-time use but we’ve been using it in the morning, after a cleanse, to top up moisture reservoirs for the day ahead.
