Amy Loves... November
Amy loves... matte lips, curly hair, a bolder brow - and a sensational body oil for seasonal slurping...
In keeping with my love of all things vintage, these lip colours from Maybelline give the most perfect, glamorous matte lips. I know not everyone's cup of tea but if like me, you love retro make up styles, then these are fabulous for achieving the look. They're dual-ended lip colours: one end is a gloss for super-pigmented colour and the other is a top coat that turns the gloss matte, but also conditions and hydrates - so lips are left moisturised and comfortable. The colour really does stay put; I haven't actually trialled for the full 24 hours but it does last me throughout a day of eating and drinking!

Sometimes in the midst of all the new launches that land in the office every day, I can forget about those products that are long-time heroes. This little compact used to be a permanent fixture in my handbag but had sadly been neglected while experimenting with other things, so it was a moment of joy when I found it again. It's the most perfect tool for keeping brows maintained at home and out and about, it's a very compact compact so slips into my make up bag effortlessly and contains absolutely all you need for groomed and gorgeous arches. There is a coloured wax (three shades available) to get the shape you wish, then powder for filling in any sparse areas, two brushes and a genius pair of little tweezers for any touch ups. I'm so happy we've been reunited - and so are my eyebrows!

I've been meaning to do a little rave about this for a while now: it's become the most fantastic skin smoother for me. Argan-rich and incredibly light, this sinks in super-quick leaving no sticky residue and leaves my skin really glowing afterwards. Wonderful for parched limbs and especially good for when my legs are baring a close resemblance to lizard skin!

BaByliss Ceramic Hair Rollers
When I've got the time, I love giving my usual poker-straight hair a bit of a lift and for that rollers work wonders, especially this new set from BaByliss. Part of their Boutique range (designed to give you salon results at home), it's a set of 12 ceramic rollers and clips, housed in an easy-to-store box. They're so simple to use, just heat up and pop them in; once they've cooled you remove and you're left with fabulous bouncy curls that you can then brush and tame as you wish. Don't forget to give your hair a little spritz with a heat protector: I love the Philip Kinglsey Daily Damage Defence for its multi-tasking skills.
