Amy Loves...January
Amy loves... bargain skin and hand saviours, a classic cleanser and pretty nails
Weleda Skin Food
A long term hero of mine, I find myself turning back to this every winter as my skin starts to get unhappy about the changing conditions and with daily dog walks in these battering winds and gales, I’m appreciating it all the more. A true multi tasker, I use this for everything from head to toe but it’s a real saviour for my dry complexion, especially flaky skin around my nose. A little rich for day, I usually apply a nice thick layer at night and let it do its stuff.

Neom Complete Bliss Hand Cream
I love pretty much all things Neom so this fabulous gift from the amazing YOU Advent Calendar that we had in the office last month went down particularly well with me! It’s a beautiful rosy scent, absorbs in a flash and leaves baby soft skin behind. Everything you could want in a hand cream and still squeaking in at budget.

Dior Creme Abricot Fortifying Cream for Nails
My nails, after a long festive season of red, red and more red polish, are crying out for a little rest and are in much need of repair. I've decided to go bare (nails, not me!) for January and just concentrate on nourishing care, this pot (possibly the prettiest pot in the world) from Dior contains their cult nail cream that's just celebrated it's 50th birthday. It's a rich and creamy balm that's magic for cuticles and improving nail strength, it is a little heavy so I'm finding that it's best saved for bedtime along with Skin Food. A little bit of luxury and still under our £20 ceiling for this month!

Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish
I know that each one of us here at Beauty Bible counts the legendary Cleanse and Polish as one of our beauty heroes, so I just had to do another rave about it now as it really is a super bargain! I do dabble with other cleansers and some I have fallen in love with (particularly Emma Hardie's Moringa Cleansing balm, but that has a bigger price tag) but most don't come close to this and how it makes my skin feel and look afterwards. Amazingly hardworking at removing all make up and grime and leaves skin perfectly clean and smooth. Simple but fabulously effective.
