Amy Loves... for Autumn 2021
Beauty Bible’s Associate Editor Amy Eason shares her latest favourite finds in skincare, hair and wellness – and keeps the glow going…
Therapi Propolis+ Ultra Radiance Cream
My skin has really been feeling the seasonal transition, manifesting as dull and deeply dehydrated. SO, I’ve embarked on an action plan of upping my skincare game, starting with this heavenly cream from Therapi. It’s rich without being clogging, thanks to the effects of the propolis and honey that are the foundational ingredients of this beautiful, natural brand. It leaves skin baby-smooth and soft, with a youthful glow I haven’t seen in a long time! I use at night but upon writing this I’ve also discovered they recommend using a thicker layer as a face mask which sounds wonderful. I don’t think I’ve ever met a moisturiser I’ve loved more.

WelleCo The Super Elixir
Not the most glamorous story but earlier this year I suffered with the most miserable tooth infection which meant I could barely eat, followed by an even more miserable tooth extraction, which again, meant I could barely eat so I had to get clever and find my nutrients in a more liquid form. The WelleCo range (founded by legendary Elle McPherson and developed by her own nutritionist) was an AHA! moment. A daily dose of the The Super Elixir meant I could get all my greens in plus herbs, vitamins, minerals and probiotics and just mixed with water it actually tastes great – I even came to looking forward to my morning ritual glass (the Blood Orange version is particularly good.)
There’s also Nourishing Protein, a plant based protein powder made from pea and sprouted brown rice in the most delicious chocolate or vanilla flavours that I could blend with a cashew milk and a banana for real sustenance. I’m back on solids now and relishing every bite but thank you Elle and team for aiding my recovery!

Tabitha Kraan Scented Hair Oil
As well as my skin feeling in need of TLC, my locks have been feeling the effects of sun and bleach… Cue this decadent and divine treatment oil from Tabitha James Kraan – the smell is intoxicating and worth using just for the fabulous hair perfumery it gives. I love that it’s multi-use, warm a smidge between hands for taming fly-aways and frizzies or my favourite is to apply as a pre-shampoo, deep treatment. I liberally comb through before a sauna at the gym to let the heat work its magic or at night for a beauty sleep mask that my hair’s always grateful for afterwards.

VOYA Facial Romance Spa Inspired Luxury Facial Set
This has been the year of the mini-break for me – and I think lots of you, too. One of the positives of less travel abroad has been getting to know my own native land (from Somerset to Cornwall to Wales and more) and it’s been such a joy. It’s also been an ideal time to experiment with some travel beauty products, this little kit from VOYA is my latest find and creates a gorgeous spa at home – or on holiday - feel! There’s the Cast Away Cleansing Facial Wash: I’m usually a more moisturising cleansing balm kinda gal but this is not drying at all. Next up is the Get Glowing Illuminating Clay Mask – again, not drying but gives the most gorgeous radiant softness after use. Then comes My Little Hero Facial Serum – only a small vial, but perfect for travel or as part of the full facial treatment, plus an organic muslin cloth to complete the experience. This is actually part of their Christmas (dare I say the word!) range but it’s available now and just shows that gifts like this are perfect for year round beauty needs.

Green People Age Defy+ Liquid Gold Tanning Drops
Having lost most of my summer glow, this seemed to arrive on my desk in divine timing. Green People have created a lovely, unscented and lightweight formula that blends with moisturiser (I use with face and body) - just a few drops and I’m left with a subtle, healthy tint that topped off with a hint of bronzer gives the perfect amount of colour for the wintery months ahead.
