All aboard The Good Ship Benefit!
No exaggeration: this is literally the most exciting thing we've seen in all our born (beauty editing) days. Because from today, Benefit have taken over the R.S. Hispaniola, the floating restaurant and bar moored near Embankment tube, and turned it into London's premier beauty destination.
For the next five months, they'll be offering free makeovers, brow services (you have to pay for those), shopportunities – but beyond that, there are cocktails, delicious American-style food (in the Lashitude restaurant), afternoon tea available in The Brow Lounge from midday to 6 p.m., there's a sun deck and more, more, more.
We were lucky enough to step aboard for the launch of A Very Exciting Collection from Benefit (which we virtually had to sign in blood that we wouldn't reveal), and a tour of the boat. We will absolutely be back, as often as we can.
Astonishingly, it's open 11 a.m. - 11 p.m., seven days a week (that's extended to midnight on Friday and Saturday – and we intend to spend as much time there as possible, over the coming months!
