A Chanel Flower Stall pops up...!

Individually the words 'flower stall' and 'Chanel' are enough to get our pulses racing.  But put them together...?  Our hearts are going boom-tidi-boom-tidi-boom-tidi-boom...! So:  here's a little advance warning of what's happening outside the Covent Garden branch of Chanel, for Mother's Day next weekend, from Friday 8th March to Sunday 10th, where the stall will be bursting with flowers featured in Chanel's fragrances:  jasmine, iris, tuberose, May rose and patchouli.

Outdoors (hopefully in the kind of sunshine that was bathing the press event which launched the flower stall), you can choose a 100 ml Chanel eau de parfum for your mother - and the gift-with-purchase will be a beautiful hand-tied posy, accompanied by a personalised message written by a Chanel calligrapher on an embossed card (featuring a choice of quotes from Coco Chanel).

If you're not sure which fragrance your mother would like (and she can't come with you), one-on-one 'olfactive consultations' are available.

Slightly more selfishly, why not treat yourself to a £25 make-up consultation (redeemable against purchases on the day), with a choice of exclusive looks created by our friend Mary Greenwell.  And/or, go for a nail paint and polish in the basement nail bar, decorated with giant polish bottles...!

Mother's Day

It's all too, too gorgeous.  And the best news of all is that this Chanel beauty boutique - which was going to be popping up for a short time - is now going to be a permanent fixture in Covent Garden.

Even if the flower stall itself is wafting off, after Mother's Day...!
